Modern video management.
Self-hosted, no subscriptions.

ClearVision is a self-hosted Video Management System built by Voltage Minnesota. Manage your cameras from any browser, access them remotely with two clicks, and keep your footage on your own hardware.

A VMS that works the way you expect it to.

ClearVision runs as a lightweight server on your Windows or Linux machine. Add cameras, review recordings, and manage everything from a clean web interface — on any device, from anywhere — without port forwarding or VPN configuration.

Remote access
Two-click remote access
Enable remote access with one button. Powered by ClearVision Cloud Relay via Cloudflare's global network. No port forwarding, no dynamic DNS, no open ports on your network ever.
Interface
Web UI from any device
The full ClearVision interface runs in any browser. Live camera grid, recordings timeline, camera management, and settings — accessible from your phone, tablet, or laptop without installing anything.
Discovery
ONVIF auto-discovery
Scans your network for IP cameras and automatically tries known default credentials per manufacturer. Most cameras configure themselves in seconds.
Recording
Zero-transcoding recording
FFmpeg records direct stream copy to disk. H.264 and H.265 cameras write to MP4 segments without re-encoding. Minimal CPU overhead even with many cameras running simultaneously.
Streaming
WebRTC live view
Sub-500ms live streams via WebRTC. Direct peer-to-peer connection between your browser and the server — your video never touches our infrastructure.
Platform
Windows and Linux
A single Go binary with no dependencies. Runs as a Windows service or Linux systemd unit. Works on mini PCs, old servers, NAS devices, or any x86 or ARM hardware you already own.
Security
Zero Trust remote security
Remote access is gated by Cloudflare Access before any request reaches your server. Google and Microsoft SSO supported. No open firewall ports, no exposed IP addresses.
AI — soon
Smart detection module
Person, vehicle, and object detection via an optional AI module. Smart alerts without a cloud subscription or sending footage off-site.

Works with the cameras you already own.

Any ONVIF or RTSP-compatible camera works with ClearVision. No proprietary hardware required.

Tested with cameras from the manufacturers below. If it speaks RTSP or ONVIF, it works.
